My Eyes Are Made of (extremely thick) Pixels

Kinda worried of late.
Went to the opticians about my dodgy eye, who told me I seem to have a "cataract-like thing" on one of my eyes. Got refereed to my doctor and now have arranged for an examination at the hospital... In mid June.

Been shrugging it off more than anything, trying to ignore it as it gets worse, not talking about it, trying to push it to the back of my mind. The latter, of course, has been impossible (it's hard not to look out of your eyes.)

Watching things about blind people (the people, not the causes) just makes things worse. It's not been confirmed that I have cataracts (although I was told it's extremely uncommon in people my age) so my mind has begun to wonder... What if this is it? What if I'm actually going blind?

My main hobby/interests lay within video games - hence the blogs, dissertation etc - and my chosen career path is in the camera department, to become a director of photography. As you can guess, this all means that the most valuable part of me are my eyes. I could loose all feeling from the neck down and still have a chance in life... But to be blind?

I dunno. Just wanted to jot down some thoughts. To vent.
Fingers crossed, eh?
